Meet Our Summer Interns
Top (from left): Briana, Callie, Cole and Yanlin
We’re excited to introduce our summer interns! They’ve been hard at work writing proposals for their work plan, as well as preparing their first impressions of the city for us. They’ll each be focused on a specific follow-up within our Cityscapes program, studying streetscapes, building types, ground floor activation, and cultural heritage in the downtown core.
Our 2017 summer interns are:
Briana Keith is a rising 5th year architecture student from Kennesaw State University. Her family is from Chattanooga, and she interned with the Design Studio and Cogent Architects last summer and with Hefferlin+Kronenberg in 2015.
Callie Hoeve is a rising 4th year architecture student from Kennesaw State University and lives in Atlanta. She is a huge fan of Chattanooga and hopes to move here after graduation.
Cole Abler is a rising senior in Clemson’s BA Architecture program and lives in Bluffton, SC. He is new to Chattanooga, with interests in sustainability, video-game design, community based design, and contemporary art.
Yanlin Wu is a graduate student in City and Regional Planning at Georgia Tech. Originally from Guangzhou, China, Yanlin has a Masters degree in Urban Design, and is interested in improving city life.
If you see them walking around downtown taking photos or measurements, feel free to say hello and ask them what they’re up to!
